This year, the Floodplain Management Australia National Conference is in Melbourne from Tuesday May 13 to Friday 16 May, and we will have a trade booth there.

We will be sharing our rich history of activity of Flood CoP since the start (“the infamous let’s have a short chat” with James Davidson in March 2014 – and then 90 minutes later) plus the various resources we have produced like Water Futures and the extensive array of graphic note taking of Haley Langsdorf.

In addition, Hayley Langsdorf and Piet Filet are going to pilot an unique interactive activity at the Conference – they’re going to map all the delegates based on the type of organisation they are a part of and what their role might be along the “pipeline of flood resilience” (this is similar in concept to the water modelling pipeline that Brain McIntosh and Piet Filet have developed and applied in recent years) – a visual display to enliven the conference.
