Water Futures – A Visual Water Vision to inspire how we live in South East Queensland

Yes we have liftoff!!! Launched is the long anticipated  Water Futures book – a visual water vision on adaptation in SEQ to enhance our livability.

This Book presents an integrated water and flood management strategies for enhancing liveability in South East Queensland.

The Vision was built through a collaborative design charrette process – with international facilitators leading a team of over 100 professionals from a range of professions and sectors.

Their collective wisdom and experiences underpin the vision, graphic frameworks and pictorial strategies that are available for professionals and community members in their quest to make South East Queensland a place to live and work that adapts to the changing water futures and is resilient to future droughts and floods

Project leader Jame Davidson whose commitment and creativity to develop this blueprint was unending.

The effort by James Davidson, Clive Ba+Pe, Sam Bowstead and Britt Hill from the James Davidson Architect team has been relentless and their commitment and ability to create this report is outstanding.  The support team from Flood Community of Practice partners are in awe of what has been created.
